\ BRIEF INTRODUCTION \
ABOUT CEEG'S SGB SERIES - The insulation system of SGB series VPI power transformers is based on the DuPont™ Nomex paper technology, and has high safety performance. Adopting VPI vacuum dip painting method, the iron core is made of a silicon steel sheet with high magnetic conductivity, which ensures it lower noise. SGB series power transformers have met the three special tests according to European standard HD464, including the F1 fire resistance test, class E2 environmental test, and class C2 climate test. The main models include SGB10, SGB11, SGZB, SGRB, and SCRB, the product voltages are mainly 6kV, 10kV, 20kV-10kV, and 35kV. They have all obtained energy-saving product certification, first-class energy efficiency certification, earthquake resistance report, and various test certificates, including ISO19001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001, CSA certifications.

\ FEATURES \
1. The new class C SGB transformer of CEEG is different from class C transformers produced by other manufacturers in the industry. Class C transformers of some manufacturers in the industry only use class C materials for the main insulation, and the auxiliary insulation does not meet the class C requirements. Strictly speaking, they cannot be called class C transformers, while class C transformers of CEEG are class C transformers in the real sense.
2. In China, the first transformer with an insulation system up to class C and obtaining Canada CSA certification was designed and manufactured by CEEG.
3. The energy consumption efficiency of the VPI transformer reaches 99.26%, 8-15 percentage points higher than that of general products.

\ WHAT CAN CEEG'S SGB SERIES POWER TRANSFORMERS BRING YOU? \
HIGH SECURITY - VPI transformer has no combustible resin, halogen-free, non-combustion supporting, and flame retardant in use. It will not explode and release toxic gases, will not cause harm to the environment, other equipment, and the human body, and is insensitive to temperature, dust, and pollution; The operation's partial discharge is small and will never crack. Its safety characteristics are especially suitable for places with high fire protection requirements and high population density.
HIGH RELIABILITY - The high and low voltage coils are made of Nomex Paper insulation material, impregnated with H-grade solvent-free impregnation paint several times by VPI vacuum pressurization equipment, and baked and cured at high-temperature several times. The product is class H (180 ºC), and the main insulating material is class C (220 ºC), with a large overload margin and good short-circuit resistance. It is allowed to overload 20%
for long-term operation without a fan. The products are especially suitable for places requiring high power supply reliability, such as factories, mines, medical treatment, data centers, and scientific research institutions.
ENERGY SAVING & ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION - After the end of product life, copper, iron, and other materials are easy to recycle; The insulating material Nomex Paper will not release toxic substances when burning; Other insulating materials can degrade without polluting the environment.

WHY COULD CEEG'S SGB SERIES TRANSFORMERS HAVE SUPERORITIES?
THE INSULATION BASED ON NOMEX PAPER TECHNOLOGY -
Nomex paper is flame retardant and does not support combustion. At 220 ºC, the LOI > is 20.8% (more than the oxygen content in normal air), so it will extinguish automatically after the external fire source is removed; It does not contain halogen. During combustion, the smoke concentration is low, and no toxic gases are released. All of these ensure CEEG's SGB series dry-type power transformers achieve higher performance.
RECYCLABLE - After the end of the life of SG (B) series transformers, the copper wire can be recycled after stripping Nomex. Epoxy casting products are fully cured and cannot separate resin and copper wire, resulting in ineffective recovery or high recovery costs. Nomex is a degradable material, and the scrapping method is burial or incineration, which does not pollute soil or air. The cost of incineration or burial of epoxy resin is very high in relative terms, resulting in significant pollution to air and soil.
LOW NOISE -
The SG (B) transformer product adopts VPI vacuum dip painting method, the iron core is made of a silicon steel sheet with high magnetic conductivity, and the silicon rubber plate is used between the coil and the structural parts for buffering and sound damping, so the noise is far below the national standard. At the same time, SG (B) series transformer products can be operated without a fan to further reduce the noise sources.

The high-voltage winding conductor is wound with a high-quality conductor and reinforced with long and short-cut glass fiber felt. Poured by the advanced Heidrich vacuum pouring system under vacuum. Effectively restrain the occurrence of partial discharge, and the partial discharge is ≤ 5pc.
The low-voltage winding adopts a high-quality foil conductor and is wound on an automatic foil winding machine. The foil winding machine adopts the patented technology of foil wire hydraulic energy-saving tension crimping device, high-precision detection of ±0.5mm, and advanced argon arc welding technology, which plays a key role in ensuring the quality of coil winding.
The iron core adopts a high-quality high magnetic conductivity-oriented silicon steel sheet, a 45° full oblique step lapping process, and the surface adopts special moisture-proof and rust-proof coating, which effectively reduces the no-load current and noise level.
\ TESTING \
All products strictly control the production process and quality links, and conduct strict tests and inspections according to national standards and customized requirements before leaving the factory, including partial discharge inspection, lightning resistance and electric shock inspection, noise inspection, and other necessary inspection items. Advanced test and detection equipment and a perfect inspection and detection system ensure the high quality and high quality of products.
\ ACCESSORIES \
ENCLOSURE - The enclosure can be divided into indoor type and outdoor types. There are several observation windows on the enclosure and the enclosure can be sprayed with the color of the user's choice. The degree of protection of the enclosure is generally divided into IP20 or IP23. IP20 prevents the ingress of solid foreign objects larger than 12 mm and protects against accidental shocks. In addition to the functions of IP20, IP23 can also prevent water drops from entering within 60 degrees from the vertical, which is suitable for outdoor installation. The material of the enclosure is divided into ordinary steel sheet, plastic injection molding, stainless steel sheet, and aluminum alloy composite sheet.
TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER - All transformers are equipped with an overheating protection device. The overheat protection device detects and
controls the temperature of the transformer by means of a PT thermistor built into the low-voltage coil and outputs a digital signal via the RS232 / 485 communication interface. The device provides the following functions:
1/ During the operation of the transformer, the temperature value of the three-phase winding is displayed on a circuit.
2/ Display the temperature value of the hottest phase winding.
3/ Overtemperature alarm and overtemperature shutdown.
4/ Audible and visual alarm and fan start.
AIR COOLING DEVICE - The cooling mode of a dry-type transformer is divided into natural air cooling (AN) and forced air cooling (AF). Natural air cooling (AN) can continuously provide 120% of the rated power under normal operating conditions. Forced air cooling (AF) can increase capacity by 50% under normal operating conditions, which is suitable for all types of emergency overloads or intermittent overload operations. Due to the large increase in load losses and impedance resistance, forced air cooling (AF) is generally not recommended for long-term continuous overload operation.
COPPER BAR
- In general, the incoming and outgoing modes of the cables are divided into upper incoming & outgoing, lower incoming & outgoing, and side incoming & outgoing. For a transformer with rated power ≤ 200KVA, the conventional outgoing mode is still used, and the side outgoing line is connected by the user with a cable. If the rated power is ≥ 1600KVA, a, b, and c use double-row feeder lines with a spacing of 10 (1600200kva) or 12 (2500kVA). Since the zero line is at the top of the transformer, it is recommended that the transformer zero line still enters the switchgear from the top if the zero line is brought out from the bottom of the switchgear.
\ USE & INSTALLATION \
SERVICE CONDITIONS -
The installation site shall not be flooded by water, the altitude shall not exceed 1000m, and the ambient temperature shall not be higher than 40ºC. The relative humidity is 100%, and the environment is 40ºC to -25ºC (-25ºC requires an on-load tap changer and temperature controller).
The installation site shall be clean, free of conductive dust and corrosive gas, and have good ventilation or artificial ventilation conditions.
During product installation, it shall be 300mm away from walls and other obstacles, and there shall be a distance of 300mm between adjacent transformers. For distribution boxes and other places with limited installation space, the above distance can be adjusted appropriately.
PACKAGING & TRANSPORTATION - The products can be partially disassembled and transported (such as on-load tap changer, temperature controller, air cooling device, enclosure, etc. can be packaged separately) or packed as one piece in packaging boxes for transportation.
During the lifting process of the package, ropes shall be hung on sleepers at the four corners at the bottom of the package. Special lifting devices should be used to lift the products after the package is opened. It can be lifted 100mm - 150mm above the ground first, and then formally lifted after there is no abnormality.
During transportation, there shall be no upward and downward slope greater than 15° on the road. In order to ensure that the vehicle can bear the load evenly, the product center of gravity shall be located on the vertical centerline of the vehicle during loading. In order to prevent displacement and rollover during transportation, the long-axis direction of the product shall be consistent with the transportation direction, and the product shall be firmly bound on the vehicle.
VISUAL INSPECTION BEFORE INSTALLATION - After opening the package, remove the protective device and check the external conditions, especially paying attention to the mechanical integrity of the coil and iron core, and the bolt fastening at the connection.
After inspection, all fasteners, coils, and iron core pressing parts must be tightened in turn without any looseness.
Use dry compressed air or a clean cloth to clean the dust and dirt on the product.
When the storage time is long and there are water droplets or condensation on the transformer surface, it shall be dried until the insulation resistance of the coil is qualified.
INSPECTION BEFORE OPERATION - Measure the DC resistance of high voltage and low voltage windings. Then check the grounding of the iron core to see whether the grounding is reliable and whether foreign matters are overlapping. Last to test the insulation resistance.
ENERGIZING - Before putting into operation, the transformer shall be put into trial operation under no-load, and the protection system shall be checked and adjusted after 3 times of impulse closing.
When the product leaves the factory, the tap positions of voltage regulation at the high-voltage side are connected according to the rated position. Voltage adjustment is required during operation. The corresponding tap connection voltage is indicated on the nameplate (when there is no excitation voltage regulation), and it must be carried out when the transformer power supply is cut off.
