\ BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SWITCHGEAR \


KYN28-12KV INDOOR AC METAL ENCLOSED PLUG-IN SWITCHGEAR -  is technically advanced, stable in performance, reasonably structured, convenient to use and safe and reliable power distribution equipment. It is especially suitable for controlling power generation, transmission, distribution and consumption equipment in AC 50Hz and 12kV power supply systems.


\ FEATURES \
1. Fully enclosed.
   a) Metal enclosures and fully enclosed structures, low voltage chambers, and high voltage chambers are isolated from each other. 
   b) The busbars are insulated with heat-shrinkable materials and have extremely high insulation properties.
   c) The fast grounding switch is used for grounding and has the ability to switch off short-circuit currents.
   d) All equipment operations including the closing and opening of circuit breakers, the pushing in or pulling out of circuit breaker carriages, and the closing and         opening of grounding switches, etc., can be performed with the door panels closed.
   e) It has a reliable interlock to effectively prevent misoperation.
    f) Through the front and rear observation windows on the door panels, the closing and opening status of the circuit breakers, the position and energy storage           status of the carriages, the closing and opening position of the grounding switches, and the connection status of the cable heads can be easily observed.

a) The enclosure protection level is IP4X, which can prevent dirt and small animals from entering.
b) The carriages are maintenance-free, and the associated operating mechanism requires little maintenance.

\ CONDITION OF USE \

The KYN28 indoor AC metal-enclosed plug-in switchgear can operate normally under certain special conditions such as vibration, corrosion, and high altitude after proper measures are taken. However, operating beyond the agreed conditions may affect the safe and reliable operation of the equipment, so the specific operating requirements must be clarified in the technical specifications.

NORMAL OPERATING CONDITIONS-
1. Environment temperature: Maximum temperature: +40°C, minimum temperature: -40°C, and the average value measured within 24 hours does not exceed 35°C. 
2. Humidity conditions are as follows: the average relative humidity per day does not exceed 95%; the average monthly relative humidity does not exceed 90%; the average daily water vapor pressure does not exceed 2.2kPa; the average monthly water vapor pressure does not exceed 1.8kPa. Under these conditions, condensation may occasionally occur. 
3. The altitude does not exceed 2000M. For special cases exceeding 2000M, it must be stated in advance. 
4. The surrounding air is not significantly polluted by dust, smoke, corrosive and/or flammable gases, vapors, or salt fog.
5. External vibrations or ground movements from the switchgear and control equipment can be ignored.
6. The amplitude of electromagnetic interference induced in the secondary system does not exceed 1.6kV


SPECIAL OPERATING CONDITIONS-
1. When operating outside the normal environmental conditions specified in GB/T11022, the company, and the user can negotiate special operating conditions exceeding the normal operating conditions and reach an agreement. To prevent condensation, the switchgear is equipped with heaters, which should be put into use when the switchgear is in the standby state. The heaters should also be turned on when the switchgear is running normally.
2. 
When installed in places with severe vibration (over 4m/s2) such as hydropower stations, reduction measures should be taken, such as vibration pads, vibration dampers, etc. The installation precautions should be indicated in the technical conditions. 
3. 
For installation in severely corrosive environments such as chemical plants, the anti-corrosion level should be at least C4 or above, and it should be able to work normally in such an environment for 20-30 years. Anti-corrosion and insulation treatment should be performed on internal components. The detailed requirements should be indicated in the technical conditions.
4. 
For installation in areas with seismic intensity above grade 8, shock absorption pads must be installed underneath to enhance the seismic capacity. The specific seismic design requirements should be clarified in the technical conditions.




\ DESIGN & MANUFACTURE PROCESS \

Based on more than 30 years of design, manufacturing, and experimental experience in the transformer industry, CEEG has developed a set of advanced three-dimensional + parametric design software, which can realize automatic design, cost optimization, and simulation.

The high-voltage winding conductor is wound with a high-quality conductor and reinforced with long and short-cut glass fiber felt. Poured by the advanced Heidrich vacuum pouring system under vacuum. Effectively restrain the occurrence of partial discharge, and the partial discharge is ≤ 5pc.

The low-voltage winding adopts a high-quality foil conductor and is wound on an automatic foil winding machine. The foil winding machine adopts the patented technology of foil wire hydraulic energy-saving tension crimping device, high-precision detection of ±0.5mm, and advanced argon arc welding technology, which plays a key role in ensuring the quality of coil winding.

The iron core adopts a high-quality high magnetic conductivity-oriented silicon steel sheet, a 45° full oblique step lapping process, and the surface adopts special moisture-proof and rust-proof coating, which effectively reduces the no-load current and noise level.



\ TESTING \ 

All products strictly control the production process and quality links, and conduct strict tests and inspections according to national standards and customized requirements before leaving the factory, including partial discharge inspection, lightning resistance and electric shock inspection, noise inspection, and other necessary inspection items. Advanced test and detection equipment and a perfect inspection and detection system ensure the high quality and high quality of products.

\ USE & INSTALLATION \

 SERVICE CONDITIONS - The installation site shall not be flooded by water, the altitude shall not exceed 1000m, and the ambient temperature shall not be higher than 40ºC. The relative humidity is 100%, and the environment is 40ºC to -25ºC (-25ºC requires an on-load tap changer and temperature controller).
The installation site shall be clean, free of conductive dust and corrosive gas, and have good ventilation or artificial ventilation conditions.
During product installation, it shall be 300mm away from walls and other obstacles, and there shall be a distance of 300mm between adjacent transformers. For distribution boxes and other places with limited installation space, the above distance can be adjusted appropriately.


PACKAGING & TRANSPORTATION - The products can be partially disassembled and transported (such as on-load tap changer, temperature controller, air cooling device, enclosure, etc. can be packaged separately) or packed as one piece in packaging boxes for transportation.
During the lifting process of the package, ropes shall be hung on sleepers at the four corners at the bottom of the package. Special lifting devices should be used to lift the products after the package is opened. It can be lifted 100mm - 150mm above the ground first, and then formally lifted after there is no abnormality.

During transportation, there shall be no upward and downward slope greater than 15° on the road. In order to ensure that the vehicle can bear the load evenly, the product center of gravity shall be located on the vertical centerline of the vehicle during loading. In order to prevent displacement and rollover during transportation, the long-axis direction of the product shall be consistent with the transportation direction, and the product shall be firmly bound on the vehicle.

VISUAL INSPECTION BEFORE INSTALLATION - After opening the package, remove the protective device and check the external conditions, especially paying attention to the mechanical integrity of the coil and iron core, and the bolt fastening at the connection.
After inspection, all fasteners, coils, and iron core pressing parts must be tightened in turn without any looseness.
Use dry compressed air or a clean cloth to clean the dust and dirt on the product.
When the storage time is long and there are water droplets or condensation on the transformer surface, it shall be dried until the insulation resistance of the coil is qualified.


INSPECTION BEFORE OPERATION - Measure the DC resistance of high voltage and low voltage windings. Then check the grounding of the iron core to see whether the grounding is reliable and whether foreign matters are overlapping. Last to test the insulation resistance.

ENERGIZING - Before putting into operation, the transformer shall be put into trial operation under no-load, and the protection system shall be checked and adjusted after 3 times of impulse closing.
When the product leaves the factory, the tap positions of voltage regulation at the high-voltage side are connected according to the rated position. Voltage adjustment is required during operation. The corresponding tap connection voltage is indicated on the nameplate (when there is no excitation voltage regulation), and it must be carried out when the transformer power supply is cut off.
